Tag & consent management
Google Tag Manager builds and Consent Mode v2, so tracking is complete and compliant at the same time.
Reference · Agency partnership
Orange Advertising Oy is our agency partner and our longest-standing relationship. They are a capable full-service agency with their own development team.
What they do not have the volume for is a full-time analytics and AI specialist, so that role is ours. Here is why that arrangement works, and why it might be the one you actually need.
Orange builds their own software, right down to their own ERP. They are not short on engineering. But some competence is mission critical and still does not fill a full-time seat.
Analytics, tracking and AI are exactly that. The heavy work lands in a burst when a new client is onboarded, roughly a week of setup, and after that it is occasional: a question, a debug, tracking for a new campaign. Hiring a senior specialist full-time for a role that is intense one week and quiet the next never adds up. Leaving it undone is not an option either, because their whole digital marketing depends on it.
Niklas Rantanen joined Orange in 2022 as their first dedicated analytics specialist and grew into leading their analytics and AI. In 2025 that became a partnership through Argnode: same person, same work, on a plain service contract. No salary, no retainer, no exclusivity, no fixed hours. Orange pays for the hours actually logged and nothing else, and both sides scale with the workload instead of carrying a fixed cost.
The day-to-day, delivered under Orange's brand:
Google Tag Manager builds and Consent Mode v2, so tracking is complete and compliant at the same time.
Finding what is broken or missing in measurement and search, then doing the fixes that follow. Delivery ends when the setup works, and the report is just the paperwork.
Setting up the campaign specific tracking tags and planning UTM-tagging, correctly, when needed.
Teaching their team to use AI tools well and building the internal AI tooling that speeds up real work.
This is not overflow help that is pleasant when it turns up. Some of Orange's client relationships assume a senior analytics specialist is on the team and reachable. Orange can make that commitment, and keep it, because the specialist genuinely is on the team. That is us.
It is a real seat, not a distant vendor: in the meetings, in the systems, working under Orange's name.
Argnode is an official subcontractor and the dedicated data-processing contact, with data-processing agreements in place through Orange where they are needed, so the GDPR chain stays intact end to end. Which is fitting, since clean data handling is exactly what we are the specialists in.
Plenty of agencies have analytics on paper: a capable mid-tier consultant who can set things up and hand over a report. The catch is that a lot of measurement is built by someone confident it is right when it is quietly wrong in a way that matters. Tracking that double counts, consent that silently drops half the data, a conversion that never fires. It all looks fine until a real decision rides on it.
Senior is knowing where those faults hide, and being willing to say so out loud. Part of the job at Orange is telling them plainly whether a client's data can be trusted for ad targeting. Often the answer is not yet: fix the tracking first, because spending against broken data is worse than not targeting at all, and a good deal more expensive. That is the line between doing analytics and doing it properly.
And when a job needs the full toolkit, it is there: cross-domain and server-side tracking, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Firebase into BigQuery, Data Studio reporting, the measurement architecture the rest is built on.
A real partnership is not one-directional. When Argnode takes on work that needs skills or tools we do not yet staff in-house, we call on Orange's creative bench: programmatic ad trafficking, heavy 3D animation, and brand design and art direction for the bigger brand jobs. Either side can say yes to a wider brief than either could staff alone.
Most companies do not need a senior analytics or AI lead forty hours a week. They need one for the hard parts: the GA4 rebuild, the server-side tagging, the consent and compliance, the AI workflow that has to be trustworthy. The rest of the time, that senior would be underused and expensive.
So do what Orange does. Bring in a senior specialist for the share of the time you genuinely need one, backed by a crew that keeps the work moving in between.
Good digital marketing only works if every link holds. This is the chain we keep intact:
Analytics, tracking and AI are mission critical for us, but the demand is spiky: heavy during onboarding, then occasional. Hiring that senior full-time never added up. Niklas has led our analytics and AI since 2022, now through Argnode, and we pay only for the hours we use. We get specialist depth on demand without a specialist on the payroll. For an agency, that is exactly how it should work.
I recommend our specialist Niklas to any agency that values financial success and the ability to deliver results.
Tell us which parts of the job actually need one, and we will tell you what we can own.
